Work/Life Services

In today’s complex world you face unparalleled challenges – finding quality child care, caring for an aging loved one, or balancing the conflicting needs of work and personal life – that prevent you from achieving your best.

Not all problems require a face-to-face counseling session with a professional. Many times, the challenge may be to locate resources to help you balance your work and personal life, or what are referred to as work/life services. These services are integrated into your employee assistance program.

All our EAPs offer online information, support, and resources addressing a broad array of topics related to the balance of work and family responsibilities including parenting, geriatric care, education, college life, adoption, caregiver support, health and wellness, tobacco cessation, identity recovery and credit monitoring, and daily living.

With our Enhanced plans, members have access 24 hours a day, seven days a week to assisted work/life program services via the same confidential toll-free number as the EAP.

Anthem’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a confidential information, support, and referral service offering tools and resources designed to help maximize productivity and meet the challenges of modern life. As an employer-sponsored program, EAP services are available to employees and their household members at no additional cost to them. Areas frequently addressed by the EAP include:

Child care and parenting

Helping aging parents

Financial issues

Legal concerns

Work and career

Emotional well-being

Addiction and recovery

Wellness and prevention

Concierge and convenience services

Life events

At Anthem EAP we recognize that consumers want a choice of services, and employers seek to enhance their employees’ well-being while managing costs.
