Any full-time sworn peace officer of the Tulare County Probation Department, who was authorized to, and did, carry a firearm during the course of his/her employment, may petition the Chief Probation Officer, in writing, for the privilege to carry a concealed firearm upon honorable retirement (Penal Code Sections 25450(d) and 25900(d).  Qualifications for a retiree CCW are pursuant to Title 18 U.S. Code Section 926(c).
